Installing Bullguard V8

Remove any other antivirus and firewall software before installation. Disable Windows firewall.

Load Bullguard from the CD

Restart PC

Connect to internet

At the Bullguard registration screen enter your e-mail address and choose a password (eg,1234). Press enter. In the next box type in the License key on the CD sleeve. Make a note of your e-mail address and password on the CD sleeve and keep for future use.

After successful login you will have to tick the box to accept appropriate programs that have internet access. (tick the remember my answer box to stop pop up each time this program accesses the internet).

Click on check for updates to make sure Bullguard is up to date.

Configure Antivirus for a weekly scan and also schedule a daily quick scan.

Remember to run a manual full system scan once a week and if any infections are found follow the fix process. This should be done on all user accounts.

If you are asked to enter the password at any time you must be connected to the internet first.

Additional User Accounts

If you create an additional user account it should be an Administrator account .

Connect to the internet, double click the Bullguard icon, click on already registered and input the user name and password used previously (on the Bullguard CD sleeve).

From the main screen click on the settings tab and tick the two top square boxes.

Bullguard will now load up when this user logs on. Configure scans and firewall settings as before.

IMPORTANT

Make sure that a weekly scan is done of the hard drive, open Bullguard click on Antivirus, Scan, Scan Now.

Uninstalling Bullguard Completely

Please take the following steps in order to completely uninstall

BullGuard from your computer:

1. Please open your computer in Safe Mode (to do that, keep pressing

the "F8" key before Windows will load).

2. Go to Start > Run ant type: regedit

3. In the window that will appear press "Ctrl+F" and type: BullGuard.

4. Delete any registry entries that will be found by selecting them and
